Buddy Allen Simco. Born: February 18, 1940. Died: February 22, 2022. Bud was a very talented writer, artist and musician and throughout his life he was able to share his talents with others and find inner peace.
He enlisted in the Marine Corps at a very young age and utilized the training he received in his future career paths after his time served. An avid reader even from childhood, his greatest enjoyment came from books. As an adult, his intelligence and capacity for knowledge brought him great joy. He lived the majority of his life in California, but relocated to Salt Lake City around 2007. Some of his fondest childhood memories were in Salt Lake and he found the same contentment there in his later years. He enjoyed the changing seasons and natural beauty Salt Lake had to offer and often took long walks along the Avenues. He would bring a book and read in a nearby park.
Buddy felt his body was merely a vessel in this life. But throughout his years on earth, he managed to fill that vessel heaping and overflowing with all his talents, wisdom, and knowledge. And he was always willing to share these with anyone willing to receive it.
