At a local dance she met the love of her life, Lawrence W. Theye, and her dance card would remain full from that day forward. Their 54 year marriage brought them great happiness and three children.
Mary’s great joy in life was staying at home taking care of her family. Her spare moments were filled with hobbies included gardening, crafting, camping and she was known for being the neighborhood Avon Lady.
Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lawrence W. Theye; and her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (Dave) Embertson of Austin, TX; sons James Theye of Salem, OR and Richard (Yadira) Theye of San Diego, CA; brother Donald (Francis) Kendall; and sister Sylvia (Joe) Krofchek. She was also blessed with eight grandchildren, Jason, Erika, Elyse, Candyce, Evan, Alayna, William and Timmy.
A Grave Side Service will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 10:00 am at Belcrest Memorial Park. Arrangements made by Howell Edwards Doerksen with Rigdon Ransom Funeral Directors.
