For those who didn’t know him, Joe was an intelligent, courageous, and plain-speaking man – no guesswork needed. You always knew where he stood. It was my sincere honor and privilege to work with him and especially so as a fellow veteran. I know that his family was very dear to him, and I pray that you find peace and comfort in your hearts as you share fond memories together. 

I'm very sorry to hear of Joseph's passing.  He was a good friend and coworker.  Always good for a fishing story or two - and a box of worms!  I will remember Joseph fondly and I hope that his family can find comfort in their memories of Joseph as well.
