Billie was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. After being adopted, Billie was raised by her grandmother Inez Obregon. She moved alot during her early years finally settling in Carlsbad, California where she graduated from high school. She went to Woodbury Collage in Los Angeles for 2 years before returning to Carlsbad. Billie met her husband Dave through a mutual friend and after dating a short time they got married December 17th, 1960. Her daughter Debbie was born in 1961 at Camp Pendleton Marine Corp Base. After being discharged from the military the family moved to Salem, Oregon. Billie held several office jobs finally retiring from Casablanca Travel.
Billie loved to travel taking her grandchildren on many special trips. Puerto Vallarta was her favorite place to go. She also enjoyed Hawaii, Europe, The Cook Islands and many cruises. She also enjoyed the outdoors; camping, motorsports, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling and boating.
Billie enjoyed putting on dinner's for family and friends. The more people that were there the happier she was.
Billie is survived by her loving husband David and was in his hands when she peacefully took her final breaths. She is survived by her only child Deborah. Her grandchildren; Nicolette, Riley and Alexis and her 4 great-grandchildren; David, Gabriella, Noelle and Abigail.
The celebration of life will be held at the Keizer Elks on November 16th, 2022 from 2:00-4:00pm. Followed by a private family graveside serivce.
