Alena was born in Gooding Idaho to Lewis and Erma Parish. Alena was raised in Idaho but lived briefly in California as well as Maryland. Alena settled in Oregon in 1997 where she lived out the rest of her life. She had a great love of the ocean and the outdoors. As well as crafting and gardening. Alena’s greatest passion was spending time with friends and family. She will be greatly missed.
Alena is survived by her husband Merlin Haycock JR and her daughter Linda Ann Owen, son Keith Edward Strout and daughter Lori Kay Hunt. As well as her many grandchildren, Sydney Leiser, Baxter Morse, Vincent L. Hunt, Gabriel J. Hunt, Eleonor O. Hunt, Christian Strout, Dakota Springer, Margaret Roberts, Brandon Strout and four great grandchildren Alekai, Odin, Carlyle Muenzenmayer and Clive Morse.
Alena is preceded by her parents Lewis and Erma Parish, as well as her siblings Lewis Parish Jr, Harvey Parish, Georgia Parish and William “Bill” Parish.
