Mark Weinstein of Ashburn, VA, entered into rest on August 7, 2024, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Nancy Weinstein. Devoted father of Stephanie Oshinsky and Bonny Rogers. Cherished grandfather of Hannah and Jacob Oshinsky, and Jonathan and Samuel Price. Father-in-law to Robert Oshinsky and Jason Rogers. Loving brother of the late Nancy Harris. Dear son of the late Harold and Ann Weinstein.
Mark grew up in Swampscott, MA, graduated from Swampscott High School, and raised his family in Andover, MA. He was an Electrical Engineer by profession and a dedicated member of the United States Air Force. Mark volunteered for many years as a docent at the United States Air and Space Museum. He had a deep love for airplanes, history, learning, teaching, and engaging in conversations with anyone who would listen. Most of all, he loved his wife, daughters, and his four amazing grandchildren.
Mark cherished the time spent with his family, friends, and respected colleagues.
A chapel funeral service for Mark will be held Monday, August 12, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin St, Salem, Massachusetts 01970. Mark will be laid to rest in Shirat Hayam- Beth EL Cemetery, 506 Lowell Street, Peabody, MA.
