Doreen Gordon

GORDON, Doreen (Rosen)- of Marblehead, MA formerly of Malden, MA, entered into rest on February 16, 2017 at the age of 75. Doreen was born in Malden, MA to the late Julius and Celia (Salutsky) Rosen. For many years, Doreen was the proprietor of “The Shoe Sellar” in Swampscott. She was an avid traveler and dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Julian Gordon, she is survived by her three sons; Jeffrey (Michaela Barnes), Jonathan (Roberta) and Justin (Jamie Gordon). She was the devoted grandmother of Cameron, Jared, Mya and Celia. Beloved aunt of Suzanne Zaccarinni, Robert Sandler, Steven Sandler, Judy Swafford and Michael Rosen. Doreen is predeceased by her two siblings; Seymour and Sylvia. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 from 12-2PM at Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin St., Salem, MA, followed by a funeral service held at 2PM. Shiva will be observed at her late residence immediately following the service until 7PM and will conclude on Wednesday from 2-7PM.
