Laura A. Peters

Laura is survived by her sons Rick (Mala) Peters, Robert Peters, Kenneth Peters and daughter Lisa (Connie Myers) Peters-Parnell. She is also survived by her brother James "Mike" (Anne) Newton and sister Debbie (Ron) Elder. She is further survived by and is the cherished grandmother of Jordan Peters, Joshua (Emily) Peters, Mandy Peters, Kelly Peters, Cody Peters, Haven (Seth Jones) Peters, Stella Peters, Kole Peters, Ruby Peters, Dalton Peters, Alexandria Parnell and great grandchildren Matilda Peters and Rexton Peters. She is also survived by nephews Todd Newton, Matt Newton, Jarred Newton and Eric Newton.

Laura was preceded in death by; son her Timmy Newton, her father James Newton and mother Laura Newton (nee Potts) and her brother Stephen Newton.

Laura attended McKinley High School in Saint Louis. She taught ballroom dancing for Arthur Murray Dance Studios and then went to work as a cosmetologist. After a successful 25 year career as a cosmetologist she retired from Great Clips.

Family and Friends are invited to join in a celebration of Laura's life with a family picnic at the family's favorite park. The gathering will start at 1:00 pm on July 8th, 2018 at the Lindenwood Park Pavilion (Prather Ave. & Tholozan Ave. Saint Louis MO 63109). There will be a remembrance service at 1:00 pm with the picnic to follow. In lieu of flowers or donations, please bring your favorite side dish to share at the picnic
