Born in Bogota, Colombia, Nohra retired from Boeing out of Orange County, California as a Technical Support Analyst (Delta II, Delta III, Delta lV). Nohra enjoyed singing (Soprano), crafts, painting, cooking, and sports. Her desire was to help others when needed, as she was a woman of strong faith which got her through her life. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother, as well as the boys' cheerleader; her grandkids were the light of her life. She was strong, outgoing, and never afraid to try new things. Nohra was always ready for a new adventure, like bull fighting, competing in sports (bowling, basketball), and always wanting to play her instruments, the tiple and accordion. No matter her age, she was still the same person, outgoing and willing to show her skills off. She was always a trickster as she had a great sense of humor, and always wanted to be surrounded by people.
Nohra is predeceased by her father, Hernando Jimenez Bernal, mother Leonor Forero and husband Michael Ray Armstrong. She is survived by her sister, Consuelo Mendez Jimenez, daughter Paola Jimenez, grandsons William S. Barr and Adam A. Barr, and nephew/God son Daniel Mendez Jimenez.
