John Martin Anderson

John was born in Savannah, Georgia, 1934. A graduate of Clemson University class of 1956, he achieved a BS in Chemistry. Additionally, he graduated and received certifications in meteorology, navigation, War College and officer training.

Retired Colonel from the United States Air Force, John served his country for 26 years retiring 1982. Following military retirement, John was employed by Delaware Transit Corporation for 18 years as Director of Operations for statewide transit services.

Son of John A. & Elizabeth A. Anderson, John leaves his 3 younger brothers and sister, his beloved wife and best friend, Bonnie, their 7 children, 12 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. Sincere thanks to all of those in skilled nursing at Westminster St. Augustine and the support from Our Lady of Good Council for their steadfast ministry.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 15, 12-1:30pm, at Hardage-Giddens, 1285 St. Johns Parkway North, St. Johns, FL 32259. The funeral will take place Friday, June 16, 9:30am sharp, at National Cemetery Administration, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
