George Frederick Breuer

George Frederick Breuer, affectionately known as “G,” passed away peacefully at his home on December 22, 2024, at the age of 81. Born on September 9, 1943, in the Bronx, NY, George raised his family in Long Island, NY; Atlanta, GA; and Flemington, NJ. After retiring, he spent his final years in Saint Augustine, Florida.

George dedicated 45 years of his life to a successful career as an insurance executive with Chubb & Son, Inc., earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues across the globe.

He cherished the time spent cruising with his beloved wife, Barbara, who preceded him in death in 2018.

Above all, George took great pride in his family. He is survived by his four children: Gary Breuer (Laura) of Lambertville, NJ; Matthew Breuer (Julie) of Jacksonville, FL; Kevin Breuer (Kate) of Flemington, NJ; and Karen Breuer of Saint Augustine, FL. George was a devoted grandfather to nine grandchildren: Alexandra, Sean, James, Luke, Cole, Jake, Thomas, Cody, and Danielle.

George will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his warm spirit, and his generous nature that touched the lives of many. He is also survived by extended family and friends who will miss him and remember him fondly.
