Edmund Martin Baron

Edmund Martin Baron, devoted father, husband, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away on Tuesday, April 1st, 2025 at the age of 99. He is survived by his daughters Patricia Goodsell and Marie Dall’Acqua, his sons Frederick Baron, Joseph Baron, and John Baron. Edmund was also survived by fourteen grandchildren, (Brian, Andrew, and Patrick Goodsell); (Brandon and Jason Dall’Acqua), (Sarah and Amelia Baron); (Jake and Jadyn Baron); (Harrison, Chloe, Carter, Sydney, and Jack Baron), and 4 great-grandchildren (Rhodes and Tilden Dall’Acqua, Maverick Dall’Acqua, and Patton Goodsell).

A Navy veteran who served in World War II, Edmund Baron graduated from St Johns University with a degree in Law, and married his bride Florence in May of 1954. Edmund always put the needs of his family before his own. He always found time to spend time with his children and grandchildren. His favorite pastime included biking, camping, boating, fishing, golf, family time, and hosting family gatherings. Edmund will be deeply missed by the entire family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a wake on Thursday evening from 5:30 pm-8:00 pm, at the Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home (1285 St Johns Pkwy, Saint Johns, FL 32259).

Interment will be held at 11:00 am at the Jacksonville National Cemetery, (4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL).
