Wesley is survived by his wife Sandra, children David and Emily, brother Walter Frazier and sister Betty Scott. He is preceded in death by his brother Donald Frazier, sister Evelyn Ulrich and sister Alice "Maxine" Frazier. He leaves behind three beautiful grandsons: Adam Gabriel, Isaac Jacob, and James Wesley. They were the light of his life.
Wesley was born in Oroville, CA to Clifford and Della Simmons. He graduated from California State University Sacramento with a degree in History. He married Sandra Welsh on June 21, 1975. They resided in Sacramento for 47 years and made their home in Gold River the past 28 years. Wes worked in real estate and mortgage lending before retiring in 2010.
Wes was dedicated to his family and had a passion for history and politics. He loved traveling in his RV, camping, and fishing. His greatest joy was playing with and teaching his grandsons. He had a great sense of humor and was a generous, good man. All who loved him will miss him greatly. He added so much to our lives every day.
His memorial is scheduled for Tuesday March 24, 11 am, at Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger in Sacramento with a reception immediately following. All are welcome to attend and share fond memories as we celebrate Wes’s life. The interment will be private.
