On March 20 2014 the first day of spring, Mary's roses began to open with the most beautiful flowers. As one beautiful flower opened up to the Sun, another one passed on to a heavenly peace. On this first day of spring our beautiful Mother and handsome Father are together again. Mary passed at the age of 85 surrounded by her family that she loved so much. Born in Hayward, Ca, she married Gus in 1953 and spent years traveling as an Air Force wife. They retired and made Sacramento their home. Mary was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, neighbor and co-worker. She loved to cook, bake and feed anyone who came to visit. You would often find her tending her beautiful rose garden. She is survived by her children Kathleen,Michael(Andrea), Patrick(Heike). Her grandchildren LindyRose, Lacey, Katie, Amber, Christian, and Nathan, and 5 great grand children. Services will be Thursday March 27th at 10am at St. Mary s Catholic Church 1351- 58th St, Sacramento, Ca 95819, with reception immediately following.
