Harold Corbitt was born at the family farm in Camden, Tennessee on May 24, 1929 and passed away after a brief illness on March 5, 2019 in Sacramento, California surrounded by family and friends.
Harold joined the Air Force in 1951 and was stationed at the Beale Air Force Base in Marysville, California. When Harold retired from the Sacramento City School District, he pursued his passion for golf. He was a force to be reckoned with during his many golf tournaments--reaching the single-digit handicap of 8. He also worked as a Golf Marshall for Teal Bend Golf Course.
Harold Corbitt is survived by five children: Deborah Fulton (Humberto Rendon), Harold Thomas (Renea) Corbitt, Jr., Trena (Greg) Tuppan, Danny Gene (Annette) Corbitt, Timothy Arthur Charles (Cindy) Corbitt; 12 Grandchildren: Leah, Brian, Jessica, Shannon, Troy, Carlee, Micah, Corey, Joleen, Nolan, Tracy, John; and 16 Great-Grandchildren.
