Van Buskirk, Anna of Gold River, passed away at the spirited age of 97 on Jan 8, 2018. Anna was born in China to a family who operated an export/import business in Shanghai. She was studious, loved learning everything taught to her, which served her well because she spoke several fluent languages and was a member of the French Underground during WWII. She met the love of her life, Willard a Navy Officer and they spent 70 beautiful years with one another. During some time living in Israel, she became a Licensed Vocation Nurse. Together, they had 2 children, Walter and Rozann. Anna joins her husband now, and is survived by her 2 children, 2 grandchildren and many friends that will miss her. Family and friends are invited to a Funeral Service for her on Thurs, Jan 11 at 11:00am, Home of Peace Jewish Cemetery, 6200 Stockton Blvd in Sacramento.
