He was born in Portland Maine on September 9, 1934 the son of Harold A. and Helen R. (Noyes) Robertson.
Warren was educated in Westbrook schools and was a graduate of Westbrook High School Class of 1952. He also was a graduate of Gorham State Teachers College Class of 1956. On his Wedding Day he received his draft notice from the US Army and served from 1958 – 1960.
Warren married Patricia Jean Miller on August 23, 1958 and together they celebrated 55 years of marriage.
He was employed as an Industrial Arts Teacher at Dirigo High School for 39 plus years and also served as Assistant Principal and Athletic Director for 25 years.
Following his retirement from teaching, Warren was a custodian at Canton Elementary School for 10 years.
Warren was a former member of the Dixfield Lions Club and the Dixfield Planning Board.
Warren’s friends and neighbors truly appreciated his gardening ability and his meticulous grounds keeping. Warren especially enjoyed his many outdoor chats with his neighbor Joe.
He also loved spending time with his granddaughter Jaleigh and his many friends at McDonald’s.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia Jean Robertson of Dixfield; children, Stephen P. Robertson and wife Sharon of Syracuse, NY, Mark W. Robertson of Dixfield, Karen J. Clark and husband Douglas of Turner, and John A. Robertson and fiancé Andrea Fitzpatrick of South Portland; two sisters, Thelma Juniewicz and husband Alexander of Westbrook, and Faye Rekosik of Montvale, NJ; grandchildren, Michael and wife Casey, Kim, Cole, Hannah and Jaleigh; and a great grandson Max.
He was predeceased by his parents and a daughter Susan Ann.
