She was born in Rumford, Maine on April 8, 1926 a daughter of Frank M. and Amy (Chayer) Farrar.
Pauline was educated in Rumford Schools and was a graduate of Stephens High School.
She was employed for several years with Diamond Match Company. She then went to work at Rumford Hospital in the Housekeeping Department, a job she truly loved because she got to socialize with people each day.
Pauline was a Communicant of Parish of the Holy Savior and one of the oldest members of the Daughters of Isabella. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxillary, Rumford Senior Citizens, the Peru Bible Study Group, and local Card Club.
Pauline loved all animals, especially cats and dogs.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening, and playing Beano.
Pauline knitted and donated many baby articles, sweaters, and Christmas stockings.
She was very fond of her nephew Briant Hunt who was her go to person when she needed anything at all.
Pauline is survived by her son Paul Buckingham of Miami, Florida, sisters; Marion Cooper of Michigan, Patricia Hunt and husband James of Peru, Maine, Sharon Philbrook of Greene, Maine, four grandchildren; Tara Eustis and companion Toby Beal, Jenny Ames, Mike Ames, Brian Quimby, four great grandchildren; Teya Eustis, Trevor Eustis, Mackenzie Ames, and Logan Ames and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband Ralph E. Buckingham, daughter Georgette, sister Frances Graham, and brother George Farrar.
