He was born in Rumford on May 16, 1936 a son of Augustine F. and Angie Arsenault.
Audie enjoyed life and had many friends and adventures. His longtime friend Butch Ferland was one of many. The family is grateful for their friendship.
He loved hunting, fishing, especially the Moose hunts with his brothers.
Audie’s garden, which he planted an abundance of, was shared with many. He made sure the vegetables were very clean.
He loved the clams Di and Kim brought to him many times.
Audie was employed in the construction and painting business, and whomever retained his service got their monies worth and then some.
He was so physically fit that a few weeks prior to his death he stacked four cord of wood easy peasy.
Audie had several nieces and nephews that were lucky to have him, appreciating his comedic ways.
Family and friends will miss him.
Audie was ready to help anyone in need, so please pay it forward in his memory.
Surviving are his sister, Anna D. Kimball and husband Paul of Lewiston; two brothers, Leo P. Arsenault and wife Sue of Mexico, and Jim Arsenault and wife Connie of Mexico; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, and three brothers, Andrew, William and Francis “Cussy” Arsenault.
Audie’s wish was to be cremated and buried in the Woodlawn Cemetery in Andover privately.
The family are grateful for the excellent care and compassion from Dr. Lynds and the nursing staff at Rumford Hospital.
