Ethel was born in Buckfield, ME and rasied in Carthage, Maine. The youngest child of Elsizabeth Holmes & Lovid Hill. She married the love of her life, Sherman E Gordon in 1959.
Among things she enjoyed were doing puzzels , the Maine crossword scratch tickets, flowers, sun rises, sun sets,& beano. She was a long time member of the Carthage Snowmobile club & the Carthage Historical Society.
One of her joys in life were her 3 Great Grandchildren, Henry, Emma, & Sarah. She would look forward to the trips up country to visit and the stop at Dunkin Donuts on the way.
Survived by her Sister Marjorie Harlow of Mexico,Me; her brother Philip Hill of Canton,Me; Daughter, Cynthia Murphy& Husband Scott of Dixfield,Me; son Michael Gordon Sr & wife Sheila of Carthage,Me. Granddaughter Holly Gary & husband Henry of Mattawamkeag, Me; GrandsonMichael Gordon Jr & fiance' Autumn Bowie of Carthage,Me; Grandson Rory Murphy of Dixfield,Me; Great Grandchildren, Henry & Sarah of Mattawamkeag, Me; and Emma of Carthage,Me.
She was predeceased by her parents and husband.
