He was born in Lowell, MA on January 13, 1972 a son of John and Cecile Duane.
Derek volunteered for community concepts for two years, but his most important job was raising his family.
He loved fishing the Boston Red Sox, the New England Patriots, the Boston Celtics and playing video games.
Derek also loved spending time with his family and his close friends, Bruce, Mary and Maurice.
Surviving are his mother, Cecile Duane Desroches, his wife, Linda (Miller) Desroches; his children, Matthew Desroches and wife Kayla of Mexico, Bishop Desroches, Minnie Desroches, Jaina Desroches and Derek John Desroches, all of Mexico; and a brother, David Desroches and wife Janice of NH.
He was predeceased by his father John Duane Desroches.
