Vicki grew up in Darlington with her siblings Susan, Philip, Judy, Guy, and John. After High School she went to Indiana University of Ohio where she got a degree in education and met her husband, Edward Morgan. She and Ed were married on July 18th, 1970, and moved to North Huntington, PA where they had three children: Scott, Gregg, and Heather. In 1985 they all moved to Norcross, Georgia and then on to Roswell, Georgia where she and Ed lived to date. Vicki had a very successful career as a Kindergarten teacher at Mt. Bethel Elementary in Marietta Georgia where she made many friends and impacted the lives of countless children.
Vicki was a super woman and she definitely gathered no moss. She managed the household, cooked/cleaned, ran kids to school and back, taught CCD at the church, drove kids to practices and after school activities, all while excelling at her career in teaching. Appropriately nicknamed “the Sarge,” she truly was the backbone of her family. When she wasn’t managing her day-to-day life, she was planning or implementing one of their many National Lampoon style trips or vacations. All of this while helping anyone around her that needed it. She had so many friends it’s tough to count and anyone that spoke of her had nothing but nice things to say. Her children’s friends often referred to her as their second mom. Her impact didn't end with her children but continued just as strong with all of her grandchildren. She took every opportunity to be with them and support them in any way that she could. One of her favorite pastimes was being on the beach in Destin with her grandchildren. Vicki had an active social life with the people in their neighborhood too, having parties and going on trips throughout the years.
Vicki is preceded in death by her daughter Heather and survived by her husband Ed, her sons Gregg and Scott, and her siblings Susan, Philip, Judy, Guy, and John.
