Spending this weekend together celebrating my graduation will be a memory I will always hold onto. Having him there meant so much to me, and the stories he shared will be something I cherish forever. He will be greatly missed.

It wasn’t until much later in life than hoped that I had the “honor” of meeting Mr. Robert Arnold, whom requested to be called “Dad”.  For some reason I just never felt as though I was worthy of that. He was such an amazing human whom dedicated his life to service.

I married his youngest son, Brian. Due to the demanding career, there was a gap in relationship. Nonetheless,  Mr. Arnold “showed up” and was present for many milestones. For this, we are eternally grateful! 

Fondest memory of him: Sitting in our porch, early morning before a graduation party he and Vicki traveled to attend, listening to his stories! Some nonsense for fun, some serious. What a great storyteller! 

I will forever miss sharing updates on his grandchildren and getting his point of view. I’ll just miss talking to him, even though through text.

His wife, Vicki, has shown incredible endurance and dedication, certainly his angel.
