Rachel Marie Germon

Ms. Rachel Marie Germon, age 26, of Roswell, Georgia passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022. Rachel was born in Atlanta, Georgia on February 9, 1996, a daughter to Richard Germon and Donna McKeith Germon.

Rachel had a beautiful smile, a servant’s heart, and a zest for life that was incredibly infectious. Whether traveling to a new place, hiking a mountain trail, or sky diving, Rachel was always up for an adventure. Along with her adventurous side, Rachel loved serving others in need. She would frequently volunteer at a local Native American Sweat Lodge Community. She loved nature and sunflowers, the beach and gardening. Rachel recently received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Kennesaw State University and had plans to form a non-profit organization to assist those in need. She was working as an Executive Assistant with Taves Consulting Incorporated. Rachel met the love of her life, Josh Taves, in February of 2020 and the two shared countless memories together. On, February 13, 2022 Rachel asked Josh to be her husband and were planning to wed in the spring of 2023. She was also a wonderful bonus mom to Josh’s two children, Maverick and Quinn. Rachel was a loving finance, daughter, sister, and friend; she will certainly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Along with her parents Rachel is survived by her fiancé, Josh Taves; three brothers, Anthony Germon, Joshua and Karly Germon, and Gabriel McKeith; maternal grandmother, Colleen and Stuart Glasby; Josh’s two children, Maverick and Quinn; and several extended family members and family also survive. She is preceded in death by her Paternal grandfather, Bruce McKeith.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from eleven o’clock in the morning until two o’clock on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at the Taves Residence, 1513 Jones Road Roswell, Georgia 30075. A time of memory sharing and reflection will begin at one o’clock.
