She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Harry Thomas McDonough, III, father John Joseph McNally, mother Mary Elizabeth (Lillian) O'Brien McNally, her brothers Francis, Edward, and Jack.
She is survived by her children, Christopher Jude McDonough, Mary Patricia McDonough Jordan, Eileen Marie McDonough and Harry Thomas McDonough, IV; grandchildren Patrick Harry McDonough and Mary Cecilia Jordan; and brother Jimmy and sister-in-law Mary McNally of Philadelphia, PA.
She graduated from Notre Dame Academy high school, studied marketing in college, then married the love of her life, Harry McDonough in 1962 and devoted her life to being a wife, mother and "Mimi" to her grandchildren.
She was a devout Catholic, Democrat, baseball fan(especially the Braves and Phillies), lover of dogs(preceded in death by Louie and Scooby), former Girl Scout, always a friend of Bill Clinton and desired to become a famous actress like her idols, Elizabeth Taylor and Audrey Hepburn. In childhood she insisted on being called by her Latin name, Patrice.
Patsy McNally McDonough was a great follower if politics, "General Hospital" and supporter of special needs rights. She fought a tremendous victory in securing equal rights for her sons, Chris and Harry.
She was known for her beauty, wit, charm, grace and intelligence. She enjoyed playing trivia, the New York Times crossword puzzles and spending time with her beloved family.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 29,2015 at 10:30 AM at Saint Andrews CatholicChurch.
