Kathryn Jones

Kathy was born in 1949 in Atlanta, Georgia to her loving parents Fred and Eugenia Shell. Kathy and Peggy were the only two children to Fred and Eugenia.

Kathy's long journey of love started when she wed her true love and college sweetheart Gordon Jones in 1970. There life together led them from Atlanta, Georgia then to Monroe, North Carolina and then to Conyers, Georgia. Kathy and Gordon had one loving son Wesley. Wesley was full of life playing baseball, and growing up in North Carolina. Yet young Wesley was taken from them in 2001.

With the love and support of the entire Jones family Kathy and Gordon carried on with life till the very end.

The corner stone of support to Kathy was Brother in law Jimmy Jones and his loving wife Connie Jones. Also the strong help and support came from Jimmy and Connie's children Darryl Jones and wife Lisa, David Jones and wife Christy & Denise Martin and husband Mark. Their children Kristina Martin, Katie Martin, Timmy Jones, Donovan Jones, Kyle Jones, Laura Brandenburg, James Brandenburg and Jack Brandenburg.

Peggy and her Husband Kurt Hannestad and there children Doug St. Amand and Katie St. Amand will always be thankful to the Jones family and the true love that they gave to Kathy.

Visitation will be held on November 14th, 2017 at 1:00pm and followed by the Funeral Service at 2:00 pm.
