Katy is now an ephemeral spirit and can be free and flowing with the Universe and flow with the rhythm of the universe in any way that pleases her, in a way that corporeal humans do not have the ability to achieve! Go galaxy girl and enjoy the mysteries of the Universe...say Hi to Alice!

I can’t believe it’s been a year. You are so greatly missed and loved dearly. Love you always. 

Charm and a subtle swagger....these are two characteristics that I associate with Katie Brown. We shared few things in common but one thing we shared was a love of fantasy... I always loved her Alice in Wonderland posters and enjoyed her thumbs up or down on new movies. Sponge Bob...square pants. You're certainly missed, tell the Rabbit I said Hi!

I will never forget the Hug and I love you, given to me as we were leaving after Christmas 2018. You were a warm and gentle spirit who lives on forever in my heart.

Katie you will be missed! You had a great imagination and a fierce loyalty to your family. I won't forget watching Dora the explorer and Sponge Bob with you and Hannah....or the look you gave me the year I put out the Reindeer "feed" for Santa Claus's Reindeer,  especially when the "feed" was all eaten off the back deck the next morning! Your tenacity and fight will be missed by family and friends. Love always, Uncle Steve.

Kate could light up the room with her presence along with her rosy red cheeks, smile, and contagious laughter (laugh so hard that your stomach would hurt).  She was such an amazing friend that brought so much joy, laughter, and memories into my life. One of my favorite memories was when we went to different schools and she was in the band and played the trumpet. Every time we would walk the dogs down the street she was always outside to play us a song.

When Katie was about 10 or 11 years old she was a classmate with our daughter Christina and came on a ski trip with our family.  Katie was an adorable girl and a natural athlete.  By her second day on skis she was keeping up with everyone.  It was a lot of fun having Katie with us.  She was so friendly and easygoing.  Our hearts go out to Robert, Kathy, and all the  Hernandez girls.

Katie was a student in my senior English class. I remember how bright and friendly she was. She had spunk. Sorry to her family.

I have so many memories of you, sweet baby sister. I'll keep them and love them forever. 

I see you in Nina. I think of my memories of little you and Hannah playing around when I watch Nina and Emie play together. Makes me smile.

My first time in Atlanta. It was my first Christmas away from my parents. All 6 of us girls giggling, playing in a light dusting of snow,  watching movies, and just loving on each other. It was a week-long cuddle-fest. 

I will never forget all the love on that visit and all the ones to follow. Katie - you were so little and cuddly. You and your sisters were so happy together and I was so happy to be included. 

I am so sorry for your struggle. I am so lucky to have known you.
