John Joseph Johnson, Jr.

with his family at his side. John was born in Trenton, NJ. He was on his high school swim team.

John served in the United States Navy from 1954 – 1958 as a Gunnery Exercise Photographer. He came

to Georgia in 1993 with his wife and family.

He worked for IBM Corporation for 34 years. He loved to travel, attend Broadway shows, volunteer

and spend time with his family. His favorite shows were Grease and A Chorus Line. His favorite

vacation spots were Hawaii and Alaska. He especially loved his opportunity to volunteer at the 1996

Olympics in Atlanta.

John always gave his all to his family as a loving husband and supportive and giving father.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie Johnson; children Heather Sparks (Jacob) of Woodstock, GA; Peter

J. Johnson of Greenville, TN; Beth Reed (Dan) of Charlotte, NC; mother-in-law Gloria Nardecchia of

Woodstock; sister-in-law Sandy Olah of Woodstock, Vicki Olah of Roebling, NJ; brother-in-law Scott

Olah (Rita) of Dover, DE.

Viewing and Celebration of Life will be at Roswell Presbyterian Church on Friday, November 5th.
