Iris Faye Smith

Iris Faye Smith aged 90, passed away on Monday February 20th, 2024.. She was born on April 23rd 1933 in Currie, North Carolina. She was married to Loyd Smith on February 16, 1952 in Wilmington, North Carolina; they celebrated 70 years together.

Faye was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a member of First Baptist Church Roswell. She was a dedicated homemaker; she loved to cook and bake and was known for her fried chicken. Faye was also known for helping her Neighbor and friends in need.

She will be deeply missed by her son, Kyle Smith; daughter in law, Carrie Smith and their children Virginia and Everett of Roswell; granddaughter, Ashleigh Tanner of Lawrenceville and cousin Joyce Eck of Woodstock. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Smith; son, Russell Smith; daughter, Cathy Tanner and her brothers, Ray and Gene.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday March 3, 2024 at 1:00 PM to celebrate Faye’s life and honor her service to our Lord.
