Mrs. Helen Marie Walsh, age 88, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021. Helen was born on January 9, 1933 in Boston, Massachusetts, the daughter to the late Edward Allen and Bernice Roberts.
Helen lived life to the fullest. She worked in the accounting department for Angel Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston before retiring in Florida and then Georgia. In her spare time, she loved playing cards, crocheting and making new friends. She had a knack for connecting with people and she touched many lives.
Helen was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Her genuine spirit, legacy, and of course, love for Elvis Presley will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.
Along with her parents, Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Walsh, daughter, Pamela Anzelone and grandson, Arthur Anzelone. She is survived by her children, Calvin Steeves, Nancy Gorman, William Steeves, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial gifts may be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project.
