Dancing, Delightful, Daren Armstrong Mosley, our life of the family party, who energetically shared the spirit that radiated joy and warmth. Diagnosed with Williams syndrome at just three months old, Daren transformed what some might see as a challenge into a beautiful blessing. With a heart full of love and an infectious smile, he had an innate ability to light up any room he entered, making everyone feel seen and cherished.
From the moment he could sing, Daren’s voice became a joyous melody that echoed the love of God. He was born with rhythm and a natural talent for music, often serenading friends and family with heartfelt songs. The passion in his face as he sang was unmistakable. Each note filled with joy and exuberance, reflects the scripture from Mark 9:37: “Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me.” Daren welcomed everyone with open arms and a warm hug, effortlessly creating an atmosphere of love wherever he went.
Daren also had a deep love for swimming, often asking every day, “Can I go to the pool?” His excitement was infectious, as he splashed and played, spreading joy to everyone around him. Whether in the water or on land, Daren’s enthusiasm for life was a beautiful testament to his vibrant spirit.
As the beloved brother to five siblings, Daren was surrounded by love, and he cherished each of them deeply. Their bond was a testament to the joy he brought into their lives, filled with laughter, shared adventures, and endless hugs.
His determined personality and friendly nature made it impossible for anyone to feel like a stranger. Daren approached life with fearless enthusiasm, always ready to comfort those in need with a gentle, “It’s okay.” His remarkable ability to connect with others was enhanced by his empathy and kindness. He made friends easily, and his laughter was a joyful sound that invited everyone to join in the fun.
Daren adored animals, especially dinosaurs and horses and could often be found joyfully interacting with them when he was not riding his bike, playing his drum or sneaking his siblings’ snacks. Also, his love for life extended to his interest in taekwondo, where he embraced every lesson with determination and a shining smile. Each kick and spin reflected his vibrant spirit and desire to excel, inspiring those around him.
In every interaction, Daren changed the atmosphere, creating spaces where love and acceptance flourished. He reminded us of the beauty in every moment, echoing the words from 1 John 4:19: “We love because He first loved us.” Through his radiant personality and unwavering spirit, Daren left an indelible mark on our hearts, reminding us of the power of love, joy, and connection.
Though his time with us we may feel was far too brief, Daren goes home to be with his Heavenly Father, JESUS. He will also hug his dad, where they can share in an endless game of “No Tag Backs,” filled with laughter and joy. Daren’s legacy of happiness and love will forever be etched in our memories, inspiring us to embrace each day with the same love he showed us all.
