Christy Hayes Goodman

Christy was born in Wilmington, NC. She is a graduate of Tucker High School. Christy had a vivacious personality and was the life of the party. She never met a stranger and could talk to anyone. She enjoyed shopping, listening to hair metal and rock music, watching cat videos as well as treating herself to getting her hair and nails done. Above all, Christy was a loving wife, mother and loving grandmother. Those lucky enough to have known her, will deeply miss her.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Steven Goodman; sons, Jason Zurita and Brandon Zurita and his fiancé, Megan Benard; grandchildren, Skylar, Sophie, Bentley, Maddie, Elle Mae and River; step-son, Joshua Goodman and his wife Ashley Goodman; her beloved cat, Bella; 3 siblings; and many loving friends. She was preceded in death by husband, Jim Zurita.

A visitation for Christy will be held Sunday, February 12, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, GA 30076, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery. The family invites friends to join them for a reception following the service at Roswell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in memory of Christy to your local Humane Society.
