Charlene was born on October 5, 1987 to Billie and Tom Fetzer in Griffin, Ga. She graduated from Kennesaw State University with a business degree.
Charlene was infamous for her free spirit, kindness, confidence, and love of life. Her favorite interest and biggest joy came while traveling throughout the world. She loved being outside in nature, music, and animals. Charlene was her happiest on the beach anywhere in the world, with her toes in the sand. Throughout her life she has traveled around the world backpacking through Europe, sky diving in the Swiss Alps, spending a month in Bali, studying abroad in Australia on her own, and has seen countless worldly wonders. When at home Charlene also enjoyed painting landscapes and decorating. She was a thoughtful person and loved to cook fabulous dishes for others. Charlene also found infinite joy volunteering and helping those in need.
Charlene greatly impacted the lives of countless people with her big heart, desire to help others, and no fear outlook on life. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Charlene is preceded in death by her grandparents, Thomas Wade Fetzer, Marian Kaminski Fetzer, Gunness Singh, and Dowlatia Singh. A celebration of Charlene’s vibrant and full life will be held at a later date at Mount Paran Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Charlene Fetzer to Nashville Humane Association.
