Born and raised in New York City, Ann was the second oldest of nine children. She married Antony Joseph Giuseffi on April 26, 1936 at the Holy Rosary Church. After spending most of her life in the New York City area, she moved to Boca Raton, FL for a short period of time then spent the last 20 years living with her son, Michael, and daughter-in-law, Marie, in Alpharetta, GA.
Ann dedicated her life to family. First, raising her beloved son, then as devoted caregiver for her grandchildren, Michael and Jennifer. In her full 102 years, she enjoyed cooking, reading, and carrying forward traditions from her Italian heritage. She is survived by two sisters, Jennie and Anna, her son, daughter-in-law, two grandchildren and their spouses, four great grandchildren, the Rizzo family of Alpharetta, as well as her extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins. Ann’s family was her pride and joy.
We would like to thank Melody and Jackie from Halcyon Hospice and the staff at Chestnut Ridge Nursing Home for taking such excellent care of our loved one.
