Amy Alexandria Esther

Amy Alexandria Esther, age 44, of Dawsonville, Georgia, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2019. Amy was born on September 21, 1974 in Riverdale, Georgia, eldest daughter of Michael W. Esther and Linda Martin Esther.

Following her high school graduation, Amy attended Georgia Southern University, earning her bachelor’s degree. She spent the majority of her career in automotive marketing, later becoming a Real Estate Agent and most recently working to become an Edward Jones Financial Advisor. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, cooking, and cheering on all of her favorite Atlanta sports teams. However, her greatest joy came from the privilege of being Drew and Mike’s mom. Amy was a wonderful daughter, sister, mother and friend who will always be remembered for her fierce love for her children, her wonderful and irreverent sense of humor, her fondness for wiener dogs, and her kindness to all those who crossed her path. She will certainly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Amy is preceded in death by her father, Michael W. Esther. Survivors include her two children Drew Margaret and Michael Oakes; mother, Linda Esther; sister, Mary Esther; and a large loving extended network of family and friends.

A Celebration of Life service honoring Amy will be held at two o’clock in the afternoon on Sunday, August 4, 2019 in the Chapel of Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Road Roswell, Georgia 30076. A reception with the family will follow in the Reception Hall of Roswell Funeral Home.
