Roger Paul Pfeiffer

Roger Paul Pfeiffer, a resident of Warren, died May 11, 2013 at the age of 53 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. Roger was born on December 3, 1959 to Henry and Geraldine (Steinke) Pfeiffer in Detroit, Michigan. He met Rebecca M. Thelen and married her on February 3, 1984 at Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Warren. Becky noted: “Roger was a committed, fabulous father and grandfather. It was his true calling to be a Dad. He was an excellent landscaper who left me my gorgeous backyard sanctuary as a gift. Roger was a great ‘cooking husband’ which included doing all the shopping and preparation. We are going to miss his cooking at all of the family occasions. He was a good friend to many.”

Along with his wife, Roger is survived by his mother, Geraldine Pfeiffer; son Paul (Jessica Smith) Pfeiffer; step-son Charles Wayne (Nicole) Seals; step-daughter, Laurie (P.J.) Mason; grandchildren, Chloe, Ian, Matt (Sunni), Ryan and Robin (Mark Wells); great-grandchildren, Sophia Mason, Jesse Wells & Aaron Wells; brothers, Lary (Kay) Pfeiffer, Dale (Mary) Pfeiffer and Jim (Karen) Pfeiffer.

Roger was pre-deceased by his father, Henry Pfeiffer and two sisters, Karen & Nancy Pfeiffer.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the family residence.
