Marilyn Anne Grundy

Marilyn is survived by her long time family friends; Joseph & Mary Welsh & Basil & Judy Welsh, sister-in-law Gilda Grundy; her nieces; Julie (Aaron) Poyer & Michelle (Brandon ) Mach, her cousins; Deanne, Donna and Michelle Grundy, her great nieces & nephew; Allison, Kelsey, Aaron, Kaitlin, Genna & Bella and her great great nephew Cameron. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Roy Grundy and her sister Joyce Fruge; her life long friend Father Richard Welsh, and her cousin Alvin D. (Jeanette) Grundy.

Marilyn attended Our Lady of Lords school, graduating in 1952, She has a Bachelor Degree in Education form Marygrove College and a Masters Degree in Music from Wayne State University. She was a Nun with IHM Sister of Monroe retiring in 1975. She enjoyed spending time with her Life long Friend Fr. Richard Welsh. Some of her favorite places were Mackinac Island and Frankenmuth.

The staff at Serene Gardens of Imlay City made her final years enjoyable and peaceful.

Cremation has not taken place.

She will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
