Joseph Michael “Joe” Clay, 29, passed away Friday, May 23, 2014 in Warren, Michigan. He was born on March 8, 1985 in Warren to Adrian Dale Clay and Tammy Ann Newton.
Joe will be missed by many including his surviving parents, Adrian D. Clay and Tammy A. (Casey Jones) Hawkins; grandparents, Tony (JoAnne) Herron, Hazel Sue (Michael) McCartney, and Linda Tickner; siblings, Robert (Nicole) Hawkins, James Hawkins and Jennifer Newton; aunts and uncles, Melinda (David) O’Grady (Melinda was known as “Sissy” to Joe), Michael Haggerty, Roscoe (Linda) Clay, Otis Napier, Larry Newton, Jr., and Debra Newton. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Joe was pre-deceased by his grandfather, Larry Newton; brother, David Hawkins; and uncle Johnny Clay.
