Laverne Carville

Ethel Laverne Carville (went by Laverne), born February 20, 1944 in Stockton CA. passed away at her home in Loomis, on Ca July 11, 2018. She was preceeded in death by her husband Spike Carville, parents Marvin & Letha Hanks, brother Bill Hanks, sisters Lura Larson, Neldine Derksen, & Nancy Applegate.

Laverne is survived by her four daughters: Chrissy & her husband Mark Spitzer, Sherrie Martinez, Jamie and her husband Troy Guisande, & Nikki & her husband Steve Sopinski, as well as her 7 grandchildren: Jeffrey Carville, Chelsea and her husband Casey Zoller, Troy Guisande, Brittany & her husband Brian Barnes, Tyler Gonzalez, Cassie & Brandon Martinez and great grandchildren: Brianna & Urijah Carville & Camille Zoller.

Laverne enjoyed spending time with her family; they were her pride and joy. Her favorite places to visit were Pismo Beach & Donner Lake. She enjoyed going on many cruises too. She loved riding on her Harley Davidson. It was her absolute favorite thing to do.

Laverne taught Kindergarten & Preschool at Loomis Christian School. She enjoyed working in her church, such as teaching Sunday School, Prison ministry, & motorcycle ministry.

She instilled the importance of putting God and family first & for that her family will forever be grateful. We will miss laughing and having fun with our mother & grandmother.
