Lena is survived by her loving daughter Julie (Alan) and her grandson, Trevor (Magali), her sister Sylvie (late Alan), her brother-in-law, Peter (Yvonne), and sister-in-law, Pam (Charles), and her nephews Paul, Mark and nieces Susan and Jennifer in England, and extended family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Kenneth Norman Dommett and beloved son, Ian and her brother Brian.
Lena was born April 30th,1933 in Southampton, Hampshire, England and married Ken in 1954 and together as a family, they immigrated to Canada in 1964.
She had a great artistic talent which she conveyed through knitting, sewing, pattern making and included drawing and painting. Prior to immigrating from England to Canada her love was working in the family wool shop in Southampton England. Upon arrival in Canada, they settled in Brampton, Ontario first before finally settling in Rosemere, Quebec. Lena was a domestic engineer and continued her artistic talents, knitting and sewing.
Lena had a great sense of humor with true British wit, and enjoyed telling stories of her past while enjoying a good cup of tea.
