Elizabeth Anthony Hogg Chisholm, Rome, GA, passed away early Saturday morning, October 28, 2017.
Mrs. Chisholm was born in Rome, Georgia on December 20, 1921, daughter of the late Abner Camp Hogg and Jessie Glover Hogg. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Donald Chisholm, to whom she was married on September 8, 1950, her brother Abner Glover Hogg and her sisters Sarah Allison Hogg and Marianne Hogg Engels.
Mrs. Chisholm was a graduate of the Rome City Schools and attended the Marjorie Webster School for Girls in Washington, DC and Shorter College.
Survivors include her children James Camp Chisholm and his wife, Lynda, Rome; Mary Jane Chisholm, Rome and Sarah Ann Chisholm, Decatur; her grandson, James Camp Chisholm, Jr. and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A graveside service was held at the Glover Mausoleum at Myrtle Hill Cemetery on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 11:00am. The Reverend Greg Lund, Westminster Presbyterian Church officiated.
