Mrs. Bonzie Sue Griffin, age 93, of Rome, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at home.She was born in Rome on September 25, 1931, the daughter of the late Harvey Lachman and the late Katie Lavada Culberson Lachman. She graduated from Rome Girl’s High School. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Hugh W. Griffin and her grandson, William “Billy” Michael Shadrick.
She is survived by her son, Hugh Cleveland Griffin; her daughter, Bonnie Mann; her grandson, Kenneth Mann II; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 2:30 pm at Floyd Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at Daniel’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
