Mary Frances Brown

Mary Frances Brown, 80, of Decatur passed away Monday, January 2, 2023. She was born April 19, 1942 in Monette, Arkansas to the late James Oris Brewer and Iris Hester Huckabee Brewer. Mary was also preceded by her loving husband, Grover Brown Jr; a sister, Sharon Segraves; a grandson, Rodney Jenkins; a grandson, Tyler Batterton; and a great-granddaughter, Kimberly Trammell. Following high school, for many years, she traveled as a migratory farm worker while also raising her family. She loved her family: and she centered her life around caring for her children and many others while sharing time with her sisters and brothers. Survivors include her daughters, Diane (Kevin) Jordon of Gentry, Brenda Brown of Decatur, Theresa (Eddie) Brannum of Washburn, Missouri, and Samantha Batterton of Rogers; her sons, Grover Brown III, James (Sue) Brown of Decatur, Joey Scott of Decatur, and Timmy (Julie) Brown of Oklahoma; a sister, Janet Brewer of Mountain View; brothers, Jerry (Bonnie) Brewer of Calico Rock, and J.C. (Alison) Brewer of Marion; 32 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; 32 great-great-grandchildren and numerous extended family members and friends.

Services will be Friday, January 6, 2023 at Mason Valley Baptist Church, 13998 W Hwy 12, Bentonville, Arkansas with Visitation and Lunch from 12-2:00pm and Funeral beginning at 2:00pm. Interment will follow in Coffelt Cemetery, west of Vaughn.
