Larry Dale Pruitt, 75, passed away on June 29, 2024 in Bentonville. He was born on April 14th, 1949 to the late H. Truman and Wanda J. (McCurdy) Pruitt. He was a teacher and business owner. He was an incredible storyteller, and he had many to tell. Larry loved adventures and traveling. He was an avid historian and had the memory of an elephant, his brain was a built in GPS. He loved to hunt and be outdoors. He loved good food, and always had an appetite. He loved Jesus, his family, four-wheeling, and being around people. He never met a stranger. He was a great husband, father, and papa, and he will be deeply missed. Memories of him will live in his family’s hearts forever. Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Alta Pruitt, and his parents. He is survived by his two daughters, Misty Dail and her husband, Bill, Ashley Ellis and her husband, Chris; his three step-children, Shelly Forest, Keith Adkins, and Kim Holiday; sister Evelyn Jones and her husband, Harold; four grandchildren, Micaela Easterling, McKenzi Dail, Aaron Ellis, and Aadyn Ellis; two great-grandchildren, Camden and Kinlee; nine step-grandchildren, Whitney, Kristen, Jocelyn, Sarai, Ian, Ryan, Isaac, Kyleigh, and Keith; and of course his cat, Church.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 3rd from 12:00-1:00 with a funeral to follow at 1:00 at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel in Rogers, AR. A burial will be held afterwards at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Gravette, AR.
