Jessie Fern Moore, 107 of Bentonville, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021. Born in Salina, Oklahoma on October 1, 1913, she is the daughter of the late Fred and Mary Spohn. In addition to her parents, Jessie is also preceded in death by her husband, Curtis, and five siblings.
Jessie and Curtis married in 1937 and moved to Bentonville, Arkansas from Missouri in 1995. They were married for 58 years before Curtis passed away in 1996. Jessie was a member of Bible Missionary Church in Rogers, Arkansas and considered attending church her greatest enjoyment. She loved to crochet and garden both vegetables and flowers and became known as the “flower lady.” She also enjoyed reading and doing word search puzzles and spending time with all her friends and family.
Jessie is survived by her daughter, Ruth Moore; four generations of nieces and nephews; and her church family.
A graveside service will be held at Bentonville Cemetery, Bentonville, Arkansas beginning at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 19, 2021. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. A memorial Service will be held at a later date.
