Grover Eugene “Gene” Rogers, 92 of Gravette, Arkansas passed away on May 27th, 2021 at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Arkansas. Grover was born in Rogers, AR on November 11, 1928 to Leona and William Richard Rogers. At the age of 17, Grover served in the Army during WWII. Grover married Alyne Witt on April 15th, 1951. They were married 63 years. Grover retired from Daisy Manufacturing. His hobby was raising cattle and gardening on their farm in Lowell, Arkansas. Grover was a devoted husband, father and grandfather to his family. Grover is survived by his daughter, Tonya Woods and son-in-law Sam Woods of Gravette, Arkansas; his grandson, Josh Woods and his wife Dena Woods of Mayflower, Arkansas; his granddaughter, Amanda Woods and her husband Michael Hyatt of Bentonville, Arkansas; three great grandchildren: Keeton Woods, Kenzie Woods and Miles Hyatt. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alyne Rogers and his grandson, Jacob Woods. A private graveside ceremony with Full Military Honors will be held on Friday, June 4th.
