Dorice Jeneva Shores

Dorice Jeneva Shores, 80, of Cave Springs passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022. She was born March 20, 1941, in Stith, Texas to the late Winfred Louis Walsh and Nina Vantress Walsh. Dorice was also preceded by her brother, Bud Walsh and his wife, Ginger and a sister-in-law, Sandra Walsh. Mrs. Shores pursued a business career; working in banking, and as a co-owner of a clothing store and Shores Hardware and was a long-time member of Cave Springs Church of Christ. Dorice enjoyed cooking, traveling and the time she shared with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of more than 60 years, Eddy Shores; her daughter, Charmaine (Phil) Stacy of Mississippi; two brothers, Bill (Kathy) Walsh of Fayetteville and Gerald Walsh of Rogers; her granddaughters, Emily (R.J.) Shemanskis of Bentonville and Catie Stacy of Tennessee; numerous extended family members; her church family; and dear friends. Services will be held Saturday, February 12, 2020, at Cave Springs Church of Christ with Visitation beginning at 12:00pm and the Funeral Service at 2:00pm. Interment will follow in Hart Cemetery.
