at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Arkansas. He was born August 26, 1941 in Garfield,
Arkansas to the late Sidney and Edith DeWitt.
Don would tell everyone “he was a jack of all trades, but a master of none.” While he was a
tow truck driver for the early part of his life, he also was a farmer, factory worker, surveyor,
logger, and his favorite job of all was a welder fabricator. He was known throughout Benton
County for his welding talents.
His hobbies included riding horses, driving horse teams, racing cars in his younger days, taking
care of his property, but most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
Don is survived by his children Jenny Harris and husband Jackie Harris of Pea Ridge, James
“Jimmy” DeWitt and wife Kimberly of Lowell, Julie Bradberry of Rogers. One sister, Lula Mae
Foster of Fannin, Texas; grandchildren Kamie Harris, Keegan (Kailee) Bradberry, Kacey
Bradberry, Kenadie (Tim) Bradberry, Jeromie (Ashley) Harris, Mattea Martinez, Charakee
DeWitt, & Lanie DeWitt. Great Grandchildren Parker Bradberry, Oakleigh Bradberry, Landon,
Payton, Keelea, Karson, Marlea, and Bailee.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Beverly of 53 years, brothers Ivan DeWitt & Ray
DeWitt, sisters Shirlene Gray & Betty Jean Morrison, and one great grandson Kace Bradberry.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 5-7, service will be Friday, December 31,
2021 at 2pm. Services will be held at Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers. Burial will be at Ruddick
Cemetery of Garfield.
