William “Bill” Wagner passed away peacefully at his home in Deerfield Beach on Sunday August 11, 2024. He was 91 years old. Preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Joan, parents Albert William and Irma Anna Wagner and life long friend Bob Dunbar. Loving father to Mark Wagner (Melanie), Wendi Perez (Wil), Lois Caldwell (John) and Jeff Wagner (Debbi). Other survivors include grandchildren Tara Wagner (Chris Taylor), Alison Edenton (David), Matthew Wagner (Brianna Smoot), Ian Caldwell (Jennifer), Stephanie Caldwell, Nikki Wirth (Brian) and Christopher Wagner (Carina) and six great grandchildren, Elisabeth, Caleb, Brooklyn, Cody, Liam and Ashton. Bill is also survived by sister-in-law Betty Jo Schultz and two nieces. Bill has been blessed with many friends and neighbors from church, Down Range and longtime friend Shirley Dunbar.
Bill was born August 13, 1932 in Philadelphia. He graduated From Mastbaum Vocational Technical School in 1951 and the Philadelphia College of Art in 1955. He served in the United States Navy and Naval Reserve. He worked for RCA at Cape Canaveral in the field of optics until 1970. He then worked at IBM in Manassas, Va and Boca Raton, Fl until his retirement in 1988.
Bill was a member of the Florida Professional Photographers and the Virginia Professional Photographers. He is an Eagle Scout and was a leader in the Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Explorer Scouts, He enjoyed birds, the heavens and especially airplanes, attending many air shows over the years.

Service will be held Friday August 23, 2024 at Florida Memorial Gardens 5950 South US Highway 1 Rockledge Florida 32955. Viewing starts at 10:00. A short service will follow at 10:30 am.
