Virginia (Jenny) Mae Dillon died peacefully on December 21, 2018 at the age of 85. She is survived by her daughters Pam Gallagher and Vicki Bock; her grandchildren Rachel Stolarz, Kristy DelGrosso, Tricia Vered, and Kyle and Kayla Bock; and her great grandchildren Gabrielle and Hadley DelGrosso; Dillon, Nate and Charlotte Stolarz; and Ella and Kaylee Vered.
Jenny was born in Washington, Indiana, one of five children. She was a graduate of Washington High School and attended Asbury College in Wilmore, Kentucky. She was married to the love of her life, Thomas Dillon Jr. on December 31, 1954. Together they shared a lifetime of love and laughter. She loved her family and devoted most of her time to raising her daughters and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Jenny was an avid golfer and a longtime member of the Suntree Country Club. She loved playing in tournaments and with family and friends. Besides golfing, Jenny loved to travel. She and Tom toured the country in their Road Trek motorhome. Some of their favorite places were Nova Scotia and the Grand Canyon.
One of Jenny’s greatest loves was being a grandmother. She was known to all as Grammy and loved that everyone called her that. She was the best story teller and always showed her grandchildren how important family, love and laughter are.
Memorial services for Jenny will be held at the Satellite Beach United Methodist Church, 450 Lee Ave. Satellite Beach, FL on December 27, 2108. Services will begin at 1:00 pm with a reception immediately following in the Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Satellite Beach United Methodist Church or William Child Hospice House of Palm Bay, FL.
